Free 2 Teach announces the establishment of the Free 2 Teach Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
Because of the generosity of the community and the commitment of so many to the mission and vision of Free 2 Teach, we are excited to share that we took a large step toward its future by establishing the Free 2 Teach Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville. Education is an extremely valuable community investment and this fund ensures that Free 2 Teach continues to be a viable and strong organization for many years to come.
“This is a big step for our growing organization and one we could only do with the support of an entire community,” says Free 2 Teach Executive Director, Alison Kling. “As a community we felt and continue to feel a deep sense of loss with the passing of Eula, whose mission and vision drove this organization. Because of the significant outpouring of gifts and support, Free 2 Teach is moving toward a more stable future that solidifies the legacy that Eula left for all us. Now we know we aren’t just impacting the children and teachers of today but those of tomorrow as well. Eula gave us a gift and we are thrilled to safeguard it and carry it forward.
“We are proud to partner with Free 2 Teach so that they can continue to build a sustainable future and be here to impact the community for years to come,” says Melissa Thompson, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
