  • We believe that investing in our public school teachers is one of the core ways we will not only level the playing field for all students, but elevate the playing field for all schools. 📈📈📈 Today is a great day to partner with us by joining our monthly giving program, The Crayon Club. Go to www.free2teach.org/donate 🖍️🖍️🖍️
  • Today is LAUNCH DAY for our 5K! The The Paper Chase 5K Presented by the EZBO Foundation is our largest community fundraiser of the year. Click the link in our bio to register to run for teachers and schools on February 22, 2025. Thank you, Michael and Elaine Gutenstien for your incredible generosity and partnership in our mission to equip and encourage teachers and students.
  • Thank you to this amazing group from BMSS CPAs and Advisors for working all morning at the warehouse!!! They sorted and organized and packed STEM kits for our Free 2
Explore Program. Each kit provides 2-3 days of K-8 science lesson materials for a class of 30 children! Thank you @bmsscpas for supporting teachers and kids with your time and energy. 🧬💚
  • We are thrilled to partner with International Paper to address period poverty in our schools. Gwen Vess and her team delivered 475 feminine hygiene kits for our Free 2 Learn program, joining @internationalpaper facilities nationwide to pack over 35,000 kits to distribute in their local communities. As a top three paper company, IP works worldwide to transform renewable resources into products we use every day. Thank you for creating a transformative impact by partnering with us to support teachers as they work to meet the needs of their students. Period poverty is a critical issue facing girls in our schools. Through Free 2 Learn, a program designed in partnership with teachers and school nurses, we give these supplies out to teachers so that they can distribute them to students in need, keeping girls in the class, learning, and moving forward with their day. Our teachers are requesting to be able to take more than four kits per shop, so we are actively working to build partnerships to fund and/or build these kits. To help us, you can host an off-site kit build at your location. For more information, go to https://free2teach.org/programs/free-2-learn/ #internationalpaper #endperiodpoverty
  • 🎃 Teachers, show us your costumes!!! 🎃 We will go first: Alison is dressed up as her favorite school supply, a Crayola Crayon!!! In just four months, we have given away 5,065 boxes of crayons! 🖍️ We believe that our kids deserve the best, and thanks to our generous donors, we are committed to Crayola! 🖍️ Ok now your turn! Tag your photo below or email it to info@free2teach.org 🎃
  • Let’s talk 🗄️ FURNITURE🪑. Since opening our doors for the 24-25 school year, we have given away $21,100 in classroom furniture to our teachers. Bonus: 100% of these items were donated by the community. We give away rolling chairs, small desks, filing cabinets, small bookcases, white boards and more. Thank you!! This is a powerful component of our model: sourcing gently used items and distributing them at our free store. This ensures teachers do not have to pay out of pocket or use precious class funds to access these higher priced items. If you have small chairs, desks etc, let us know! Email Ryan with questions or to set up a drop-off time at ryan@free2teach.org 💚🪑💚
  • Listen for the joy!!!! At Free 2 Teach we aren’t just working to level the playing field, but ELEVATE it. We work to source and purchase high quality books, resources and more, so that teachers can create an environment of excellence and enrichment for every child they work with. Every teacher who walks through our doors leaves with more items and more ideas for what is possible. At every shop, we see moments like this: so much joy, support and collaboration. Thank you to our amazing community for trusting us with your support, making moments like this one possible. 💡📚💡
  • We have a Fun Friday Fact for you: we served all 88 schools this month, but our highest school by shop value is 🥁… Lee High School! Together, we gave away $5,917.25 in supplies to @leehighhsv teachers for their kids and classrooms! ✏️✏️✏️
  • Teachers make a profound impact on children across our schools, every single day. They go above and beyond for our kids. Thank you for partnering with us so that we can go above and beyond for teachers like Ms. Baker!! 💙
  • 🎒Thank you Monte Sano Research for donating 800 backpacks this year! 🎒 We give these to our teachers so that they have them on hand to help students in need. A story from Ms. Ingwersen illustrates your impact in action: “I have a student whose house burned down this week and I want you to know that the first thing that she did is come to my classroom and we packed a full backpack for her. She knows I come to Free 2 Teaxh, and she knows I would have everything she would need. This is why coming here is so important to me and to my students. Thank you.” ❤️🎒❤️ Thank you @montesanoresearch
  • We are so thankful for the support of @rep.andywhitt this year! Equipping and encouraging teachers across 88 public schools is a team effort, and we are so glad to have you as part of the Free 2 Teach family.
Rep. Whitt is pictured with our Program Coordinator, Ryan Bier, at the store just before we opened for teacher shopping. Thank you! ✏️📚📌✂️
  • “I teach 1,000 kids art. I love it! I have already spent this years budget- all on paper! In art we constantly need to replenish, and coming here helps me SO much. I get markers, glue sticks, more paper, and all of the extras, saving me so much of my own money. Free 2 Teach helps my students to have creative, fun projects.” Stephanie Burns teaches art at Madison Elementry and West Madison. Because of your support of Free 2 Teach, we can go above and beyond for teachers, all year long, empowering them to inspire every child (artist!) they work with. 🎨🖌️🖼️
