STEM Partnerships at Free 2 Teach

We equip teachers as they engage and inspire young scientists in classrooms across our public schools.

At Free 2 Teach, we work to invest in teachers so that they can not only equip every child with the basic supplies, but they can inspire every learner in their classroom as they explore our world. Our growing STEM program, Free 2 Explore, is making a difference: we are working through partnerships to get high quality lesson kits directly into the hands of teachers from Pre-K through High School. These kits are designed by leaders in the industry and are prepared by our team of volunteers and staff. Each kit contains a fully prepped lesson with materials for 30 students.

Our partnerships focus on getting high quality energy lessons, written by their curriculum team, directly into the hands of children from Elementary through High School. We love partnering with Energy Alabama to get high quality energy education lessons directly into the hands of your students! Thanks to the support of PPG, we have kits available at our free store over the 24-25 school year covering K-12 STEM instruction.

Kit Lessons

We are excited to launch our STEM partnership with Club for the Future at Blue Origin! Our first series of lessons focus on 3-5th grades, exploring the rocket launch program here in Huntsville. Also, the Digital Post Card to Space contest is open to teachers and students for a chance to win a tour of Blue Origin!

We love working with our Distinguished Partners at RTX. Their Solar Science Station lesson is available at our free store.
