Who We Serve
At Free 2 Teach, we focus on serving children in public schools across our communities to level the playing field and ensure that no child goes without the supplies and resources they need to succeed and thrive. We reach children through their teachers by opening a year-round, free supply store for public school educators, including core classroom teachers, speech therapists, librarians, and more.

Register as a teacher through our online teacher portal and download the shopping app for a smooth experience from start to finish.

Schedule your monthly shopping appointment.

Arrive with your badge. Don’t have a badge yet? Print your confirmation email. Need to cancel? Click "modify" appointment or contact us.

Shopping Hours
Teacher Shopping
Tuesday & Thursday 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm
First Saturday of each month 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
By Appointment Only
Additional Saturday’s may be added. For more information, send us a note to be added to our teacher email distribution list at info@free2teach.org.
Qualify to Shop
- We support public school teachers and staff across Madison County's three public school systems: Madison City, Huntsville City, and Madison County Schools.
- After making an account and registering to shop please note your appointment and arrive on time to our free store located at 3054 Leeman Ferry Road. Please bring your badge and/or a copy of your confirmation email (printed or displayed on phone is acceptable).
- We do not allow shopping companions, including children or helpers. If you need support during a shop please send us a note at info@free2teach.org.
- Please modify or cancel your appointment if you need to make a change.
- Teachers can shop once per month.

What to Expect When Shopping
Each month when you come to our free store, you will be greeted by a front volunteer who will take your information from your badge and check you in. You will be provided with a shopping sheet that you use to keep track of your “purchases” until check out. Watch the video below to learn more!
