Resources for Your Students
Our friends at the Enrichment Center do a wonderful job of providing in-school mental health therapy to students across our community. Their teacher resource page is full of lesson ideas, classroom activities and tools to support you in your work with students.
We are thrilled to partner with the Botanical Gardens to get classroom garden kits into the hands of our teachers and their students. The Educational Outreach Team has a vision to help students and teachers make delightful discoveries in nature.
Professional Development Resources
All year long, the Educational Outreach Team at the Huntsville Botanical Garden works to grow STEM educators through their Cultivate PD program, STEM Education Camps, and more. The Summer 2025 Cultivate PD will be on July 8th from 9am-12pm and will focus on preK-6th grade standards.
Honoring Veteran Legacies is a nonprofit with a mission to: honor senior veterans in their communities and beyond, with a goal to guard and preserve their legacies for future generations.
Part of this work is sharing lesson plans and PD opportunities with teachers across the community. We are thrilled to partner with the Smithsonian Science Education Center to help build capacity for our teachers through professional development opportunities as well as get their powerful supplies and workbooks into the hands of kids through our free teacher store.
