Free 2 Teach launched Impact from Anywhere this month, a new program designed to meet businesses, civic groups, and organizations wherever they gather and turn that time into meaningful investment in public education.
Impact from Anywhere allows teams to purchase and assemble high-impact supply kits for local classrooms during meetings, corporate all-hands events, retreats, conferences, civic gatherings, and team-building experiences. In as little as one hour, teams can assemble classroom-ready kits that expand equity, increase access to critical resources, and directly support teachers and students.
The supplies will be distributed across the 113 public schools Free 2 Teach serves in Madison and Limestone Counties through their free teacher resource center.
Three Notch Engineering held one of the first Impact from Anywhere builds over the lunch hour at their office, and at a recent Leadership Greater Huntsville Reboot Day, participants build hygiene kits after learning more about the work of Free 2 Teach.
“The opportunity to bring a hands-on volunteer project into a program day was powerful for our participants,” shared Katelyn Sides Baker, Alumni, Focus and Spark Program Director for Leadership Greater Huntsville. “It was great to incorporate this project into our program day and accomplish something that moves the needle for education equity.”
“Impact from Anywhere creates a simple but powerful opportunity,” said Ryan Bier, Programs and Grants Coordinator at Free 2 Teach. “No matter where your organization meets, you can build something that strengthens the classroom. This program makes investing in public education accessible, tangible, and immediate.”
Free 2 Teach will continue expanding partnerships through Impact from Anywhere, offering customizable experiences for corporations, nonprofits, civic organizations, churches, and community groups seeking meaningful engagement opportunities with measurable impact.
