Free 2 explore lending library
We equip teachers as they engage and inspire young scientists in classrooms across our public schools.
At Free 2 Teach, we work to invest in teachers so that they can not only equip every child with the basic supplies, but they can inspire every learner in their classroom as they explore our world. The Free 2 Explore program now includes a Lending Library, a new avenue for us to work with our partners to get high quality STEM kits directly into the hands of High School science teachers. These kits are designed by leaders in the industry and are prepared by our team of volunteers and staff. Each kit contains a fully prepped lesson with materials for 30 students.

Our new lending library partnerships focus on getting high quality STEM lessons, written by curriculum teams at our partner organizations, directly into the hands of High School teachers and students in North Alabama. We’ve expanded our partnership with Energy Alabama to bring the Energy in Action kit to the Free 2 Explore Lending Library. We always love partnering with Energy Alabama to get high quality energy education lessons directly into the hands of your students, and Energy in Action is a great new option for high school STEM teachers.

Our Lending Library partnership with Hudson Alpha brings the Molecules of Life STEM kit to high school STEM teachers. The Molecules of Life kits gives teachers the chance to bring realistic, lifelike biology models into the classroom.
